About

The Heart Clinic of Austin was formed to take on the challenge of providing state of the art cardiology care in a non-hospital setting. As we have learned more and more about the causes and treatment of heart disease it has become increasingly clear that prevention, early diagnosis and aggressive non-invasive treatment strategies have a far greater impact on survival and quality of life than waiting until a heart attack happens, and then pursuing stenting or surgery. We are committed to taking every possible measure to prevent heart disease, treat it aggressively so that it doesn’t progress once it is identified and work with patients to minimize the need for hospitalization, invasive procedures and surgery.

Pacemaker Implantation and Cardiac Catheterization are performed offsite at one of the trusted state of the art facilities close to our Clinic.

If you require cardiac surgery, angioplasty or stenting we will work with the areas top surgeons and interventional cardiologists to ensure that you get the best possible care. If you choose to have surgery elsewhere we have established relationships with the Texas Medical Center in Houston (St. Luke’s and Methodist Hospitals), the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina and Harvard Medical School (Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital) in Boston, MA.
