Howard K. Schramm: Chief Financial Officer of Texas Heart Institute

Howard K. Schramm is the Vice President of Administration, Finance and Risk Management at the Texas Heart Institute (THI). As the primary administrative liaison between THI and its affiliated entities, he works closely with the leadership teams of THI's clinical and academic affiliates. Recently, Schramm was appointed as the Managing Director (CAO) of THI and is now the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the institute.

In this role, he is responsible for executing key business development initiatives. He collaborates with the leadership teams of THI's clinical and academic affiliates to ensure that all operations are running smoothly. Moreover, Schramm is in charge of funding and helping build and open two new hospitals and the Texas Heart Institute, the Denton A. Cooley Cardiovascular Center.

The Texas Heart Institute Center for Cardiovascular Care is located in Houston, Texas. It offers a variety of services to its patients, including cardiology care. Dr. Eduardo Hernandez-Vila is a member of the professional staff of THI and an adjunct clinical professor of medicine at the Baylor School of Medicine.

He has been appointed as President of his clinical office of the Texas Heart Medical Group. The Texas Heart Institute was founded by world-renowned cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Denton Cooley and his colleagues with the firm conviction that it would become a leader in cardiovascular research and patient care. The institute has been successful in achieving its mission by providing innovative educational programs to empower patients and their families.
